Terms of Service
What Zaiketz is
Zaiketz is the trading name (屋号) of Daniel Itiro Tikamori, a sole proprietor (個人事業主) registered in Japan (“we”). Zaiketz is subscription software for small appointment-based businesses: it sends each appointment's reminders, confirmations and review requests over WhatsApp on behalf of the subscribing business. That subscription is what this site sells, and these terms govern the subscribing business's (“you” or “client”) use of the software.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the service only to communicate with people who are already your own customers or legitimate contacts, and who have consented to receive messages from you. Using the service to send unsolicited messages (SPAM) is prohibited, as is using purchased or non-consented contact lists, or any misleading, unlawful content or content that infringes third-party rights. We may suspend access for anyone who violates this rule.
Responsibility for third-party platforms
The service delivers messages through platforms operated by third parties — today, the official WhatsApp API (Meta) and, where applicable, an SMS provider. Use of those platforms is subject to their own terms of service (Meta/WhatsApp, Google, where any of its integrations are used). It is the client's responsibility to know and follow those terms — including Meta's messaging policies and obtaining proper consent from its own customers before sending any message.
Disclaimer of liability
We do not control decisions made by third parties. We are not responsible for account blocks, suspensions or bans applied by Meta/WhatsApp or other providers, nor for outages or pricing changes in their APIs — even when these affect how the service works or what it costs. We do our best to adapt the service to such changes, but they are outside our control.
Service availability
We work to keep the service running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, or for reasons outside our control.
Subscription, billing and cancellation
This section applies to the Zaiketz subscription, which is the only thing sold on this site. The subscription comes in two intervals: quarterly (every 3 months) or yearly (per year). You pick the interval when you subscribe.
The 14-day free trial. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Nothing is charged during the trial. If you cancel before the 14 days are up, there is no charge at all. The first charge is taken on the day the trial ends, for the interval you chose.
How a subscription starts. You subscribe here on the site: pick the interval, enter a payment method at checkout, and the 14-day trial begins straight away. Using the service after that is acceptance of these terms.
How you pay. The price of the interval you chose is charged in advance, at the start of each period, to the payment method you gave — credit card and whatever other options checkout offers in your country. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each interval — 3 months or 1 year — for the same interval, until you cancel. The amount covers use of the software for the period contracted.
What the subscription does not include. Meta's messaging costs. The WhatsApp Business Account, the number and the payment method registered with Meta are yours, and Meta invoices you directly. We neither resell nor pass through that cost.
Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. No notice period, no penalty, and no reason required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the interval you have already paid for: there is no further charge, and your access continues until that interval's last day — what you paid for is not cut short.
The 14-day guarantee. The first charge of each subscription — the one taken when the free trial ends — is refunded in full if you ask within 14 calendar days of that charge, with no justification required. A duplicate charge, a wrong amount or a failure on our side is always refunded, regardless of that window. How to ask, what happens to messages already scheduled, and the rest of the detail are in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
A payment that does not go through. If a charge fails, you are told and given time to update the payment method before anything is suspended. We tell you before suspending — never after.
Price changes. A new price is announced in advance and never applies to a period already paid for.
Support. A human reply within 2 business days. There is no out-of-hours on-call. The commitment is about the reply, not about how long a fix takes.
Who processes payment (Paddle)
Payment on this site is processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record and authorised reseller for our orders. In practice: the subscription is bought from Paddle, and Paddle takes the payment, issues the invoice, collects any applicable sales tax and handles first-line questions about the order. Refunds are issued through Paddle too.
On your card statement the charge appears as ZAIKETZ. By subscribing you also accept Paddle's buyer terms. The software, the support and everything else described in these terms remain ours.
Your data and your customers' data
Your customers' data is yours. You decide what it is for; we process it only to run the software you subscribe to — you are the controller and we are the processor. We never sell it, never share it, and never use it for anything else.
Message content is not stored. We record that a message was sent, for which appointment, and what became of it — not the text.
Leaving. While the subscription is active you export your data yourself, whenever you want, from inside the app. After a subscription ends we keep the data for 90 days and then delete it permanently. Within those 90 days, just ask us by email and we send you the export within 2 business days.
Where all of this runs, and what we do with each category of data, is in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms — for example, to reflect changes to the service or to the third-party platforms we use. The “last updated” date at the top marks the current version, and material changes are ordinarily communicated to the client with reasonable advance notice.
Contact and support
Email is the main channel: [email protected]. A human reply within 2 business days, during business hours. There is no out-of-hours on-call.
Our contact form works too, and for urgent matters WhatsApp at +81 70-6951-9201 — WhatsApp is for urgent things, not day-to-day questions.
